Analyze
The Analyze group in the project menu holds the screens that look at your process from each angle. They read the event log in use - shown in the top bar - and what you set up under Define, such as your rules and saved filters. Task Mining is the exception: it reads desktop recordings you upload, not the event log.
The screens, and the question each one answers

Task Mining works from recordings made with the Task Mining Agent, a small Windows program. If you still use the earlier recorder, see Task Mining Agent, Version 1.
Where to start
- Open Process Maps to see the shape of the process and its main path.
- Open Variants to see how many ways the work really runs.
- Then go where your question is: Conformance for "are we doing it right", Performance for "where is the time going", Automations for "what could a machine do".
Looking at some of the cases
Several Analyze screens can look at part of the log instead of all of it:
- On Process Maps, click a path or an activity to narrow the map to those cases. A chip at the top says what you are looking at, and Take it to carries the same cases to Variants or Performance.
- On Conformance and Performance, Saved filter applies a filter saved on Filters.
The screens say which cases their figures are for. A view that always works from the whole log, such as the BPMN Map, says so when a filter is on.
Good to know
- Looking, clicking and filtering on these screens does not change your event log.
